HELLO EVERYBODY! =)
Met up with Brian, Joey, Stanley, Weii, Wenn and Wenn's bf for drinks at Balaclava. It has been super duper long since the 6 of us gathered together. Really miss those days.... Those days where we had lunch at margaret drive after school, walked to queenstown mrt tgt, accompany brian to wait for his bus and taking train home together with my girls. The crazy conversations that we have on the train.... oh and, the cliche handshakes that we had. =)
We opened bottle that night. Drank quite a lot. But I wasn't tipsy at all. Brian was the first to 'down'. Lousy las... He was like totally lying on the table already can......
Didnt know my 'jiu liang' was so good... erhem.
MORE DRINKING SESSIONS! I like.....
But drinking is supposedly bad for the liver and results in BEER BELLY RIGHT? Hence, I MUST refrain.
Went and am back from my Ubin recee trip.
It was an interesting experience. I gotta admit that it was my first time going to Ubin. Bike rental is $2 whole day eh!
Girls! We should go there for outdoor trips more often!
Stayed over at Jelutong campsite with seaview.
First day: Recee the whole place on bike. Had seafood dinner. Nightwalked. Meeting in our lil' hut. Nightwalk was scary. Really glad I'm not one of the freshies. hurhur..
Then, Eric took out his MARTEL. Can you believe it?
They actually brought Martel to Ubin. But, I didnt drink. Was eating maggie and drinking campbell soup with the good kids.
The rest were drinking and playing zhong ji mi ma.
Oh, I gotta say... Their tap water is YELLOW in colour. With lotsa natural purities, Kenny was saying the water was filled with Fe(OH)2. Iron Hydroxide. Chemistry! haha....
No choice, but had to use the YELLOW water to wipe our body. Went back to campsite and used ICE MOUNTAIN to wash face.
Although we set up tents, but nobody slept in the tent. Guys tied hammock. The rest of us lay groundsheets on the shore and slept there. Looking at the stars above us.
Disadvantage? Ultimate BUFFET for the COMMANDO mosquitoes there. My leg is super duper ugly right now. Didnt dare to wear shorts at all.
Second day: Brushed teeth with ICE MOUNTAIN water again. Rich kids huh. Owells.. no choice.
Rained the whole morning. Had lunch at Changi Village. Home sweet home.
Good experience.
I'm so thankful that our recee trip is only 2 days 1 night.
BUT, FOC is 3 days 2 night. Argh, can't imagine myself 'feeding' the mosquitoes for 3 days and bathing with the YELLOW water.
Oh wells...
Planned to slack one more week.
If I still cannot find any job, I might have to work in my aunt's company again. Haiks, people who know me should know how MUCH I hated working there....
